If you are in the market to install solar, look no further. SunPower by Eco Solar completed an 11 panel and one Tesla power wall (battery) installation flawlessly. They completed the install is less time than anticipated and for less than several other companies we were quoted. Make sure to ask for Kirby, he was our sales/design rep and he is super friendly and knowledgeable. Anytime I had questions/concerns about the system or process he got back to me in a timely manner. He never tried to upsell or pressure us in anyway, he designed our system to meet our current consumption needs. He also broke down tax incentives and financing options. It’s only been a week since install but our system has been running cherry and outputting more than anticipated!! A+ experience from start to finish. Mahaloz Kirby and SunPower team for making this a great experience. I highly recommend!

Sun Power by Eco Solar exceeded our expectations and was the most professional. We opted for 30 panels and 2 Tesla batteries. Matt Householder was responsive, honest, informative, knowledgeable and did not pressure us at any time. Our project was an online permit and included a meter upgrade to back up the entire house if a power outage occurred, but the entire process ran smoothly and was quick. Because of an order backup with the panels after the order was placed, Eco Solar immediately reached out and offered us several options for upgraded panels and a Sun Power rebate, if we decided not to wait. It took one month from the date of signing the contract to our installation date. HECO also came out and upgraded our meter two weeks after signing the contract, so we were up and running on our installation day. The installation was clean! All company personnel that we interacted with- Matt, Coleen, Ben, Chris and Andrea provided excellent customer service and were efficient. If you’re in the market for a Solar PV System with batteries, Sun Power by Eco Solar is the absolute best.

Why not five stars ECO Solar and Chris have produced, designed and maintenance our solar system with professional acuteness, as well as promptly answering issues that have occurred. Like to leave wiggle room in the future to further offer satisfaction to how we’ve been treated as customers so far. Nothing is perfect but excellence abounds.

Top notch installation. Clean up is very important to them. Very conscientious about homeowners property and belongings. Kirby is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Would recommend to homeowners and businesses. 👍👍

Deceptive salesmanship.
Beware of the Epluggs!
I installed a solar panel and Tesla battery system in December of 2020. On the day of installation I was told that I would have to run extension cords to my battery in a power outage to make use of my battery backup. This was never explained to me until after I wrote checks and the installation had begun. Even though it was written in the fine print on the contract, Micheal French (Ecosolar sales rep) sold me on the impression that the battery would backup the house automatically, as designed to do by Tesla. Contacted Tesla about this and they have never heard of extension cords needed, should be wired for either partial of full home backup!
This looks like the company is cutting corners to make installation easier/ cheaper and purposely deceiving customers. I’ve reached out to them multiple times about this issue and have either gotten no response or “I’ll get back to you in a few weeks”.
I’ve spoken to other Ecosolar customers with the same problem and Micheal French has admitted receiving multiple complaints about this issue but has made no effort to resolve this matter.
I would take my business to a more transparent, less deceptive company.
