I had a great experience with this plumbing service. Chris was professional, arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed the issue. The work was done efficiently and everything was explained clearly before he started. The quality of the repair was excellent, and left the area clean when finished. Would not recommend this company. Called for service to have a sink drain unclogged, no big rush just needed it fixed in the next day or two. Received a 4-hr arrival window for same day and thought "wow, these guys are really well organized and efficient".
Then the calls started, each one about 20 minutes before the expiration of the committed arrival window... "sorry our service techs are really busy, it's raining"... This went on all day, 4 calls total the first day and at 8pm the service had to get re-scheduled to the following day. Following morning, same pattern of apologetic calls, same excuse. Was annoyed but not too concerned as long as we would get the clogged drain taken care of soon. Another 4 apology calls throughout the day, service keeps getting delayed and pushed out.
Finally, after 48 hrs from the initial call a tech arrives, runs a snake device down the drain (5 minute visit) and presents a bill for just under $600. When asked why it's so expensive, the tech replies it was an emergency service...
I've not previously left a negative review for a business. We all have difficult days and sometimes things just go south. However, this experience was particularly offensive. I should have spent the time finding a local plumber. I've subsequently learned the going rate for this kind of service is less than half what we were invoiced for. Really regret not supporting one of our local businesses who are far better representatives of this community.

I’ve used Roto-Rooter multiple times over the years. To their credit, they respond quickly. But that’s where the positives end for me.
The pricing is consistently high, and the work hasn’t held up. Problems that should have been resolved kept coming back, which makes me question whether the job is actually being done thoroughly or just well enough to get out the door.
Two specific experiences stand out. On one visit — at my elderly father-in-law’s home — the technician snaked the drain, cleared the clog, and performed a camera inspection that was never requested and never explained. My father-in-law was charged over $700. That’s not acceptable.
On another visit, after resolving the issue, they pushed an expensive water mitigation service, warning us that our walls and carpets were full of moisture and headed for a mold problem. The quote was in the thousands. We declined, cleaned the carpets ourselves, let everything dry out, and had zero issues. It felt like an upsell, plain and simple.
Fast response times are valuable, but not at the cost of feeling like a number. I can’t recommend Roto-Rooter. If they’re your only option, go in with eyes open — they will be expensive, and make sure you’re clear on exactly what you’re authorizing before they start.

Roto Rooter quickly responded and the website was easy to use. Communication was great, everything from the booking of the appointment online to the phone call that said our technician was on his way. Mario was helpful and quick to service us on a Sunday. They even notified us to check their website and app for any applicable discounts. Thank you!

Johnny is an excellent plumber, who help me with a difficult removal of an old water heater and the installation of a new one. He also helped me with the repair of a leak with my kitchen sink. I am very grateful for his hard work and expertise.
