Beware of Tory roofing: warning
We trusted Tory roofing, but that was a mistake. This is our opinion about Tory’s roofing. I say that because Tory Roofing has threatened to sue us if we put our experience on social media.
Tory’s roofing put on a new roof for The lady that we bought this house from. She told us that she had told them Price was no object and she wanted to have the very best Roof. They suggested an aluminum shake roof. they charged $300,000 !!!! The roof was put on just a few months before we purchased the house. Almost right away, we started having problems with the roof but Mike Torrey, the owner of the company, refused to take care of problems that were caused by, in our opinion substandard installation and lack of communication . we called Two Other licensed roofers, they told us, to put on that same roof, they would have Charge less than $100,000. they also told us that they would never recommend aluminum tiles because they are so fragile.
Tory roofing didn’t check all of the gutters some of which were broken , rusted and clogged. Underneath the old roof there was dry rot but they never checked for the dry rot even though they knew that water had been leaking through the old roof for over two years. They just put the New roof over it without checking. we were never told that no one should step on the roof because those tiles are so fragile. So when workers were up on the roof, fixing other things, it caused damage to the tiles.
When the front of our house was flooded inside, because of The old gutter that was rusted and had holes in it. It was not replaced as it was written in the contract that they where to replace or repair gutters.
Tory’s roofing would not take responsibility for fixing The damage. We had to hire a contractor to Replace all the drywall and carpet, Repaint the walls inside the house and repair the gutter. It cost over $178,000. Tory’s Roofing refuse to take responsibility for any of the damage Even though the Warranty Was transferred to us.

Beware if you are working with this company. They installed a roof incorrectly and then proceeded to charge $1500 for a water test to find out where it was leaking. Jesse is terrible to work with.

Awesome service and work. Foreman introduced himself and kept us updated everyday. We had a few rain delays and Torys did a great job of keeping their employees safe and our house free from any rain damage while they worked on the roof. They even made sure to cover our pool and used ramps to drive their truck on our lawn (so our grass wasn’t destroyed). We’d definitely use them again.

Great experience w/Tory’s. I called for a quote several years ago & Hunter outdid the competition with a very comprehensive roof inspection which took a 1/2 hour. He then showed us pictures of all the problem areas due to water wood rot, wear and tear and all our options for our flat roof. Quote came in a couple of days. Due to circumstances beyond our control we couldn’t get a loan so put it on hold but kept the quote. We let Hunter know that we’d have to wait and he said to let him know if we had any more questions and to call him whenever we’re ready. He was very respectful and polite. Fast forward several years later we contacted Hunter again and asked for an updated price. He said they’d keep the same price however, due to COVID & shipping backlogs, price increases, they had to raise the price a little bit but that was ok w/us as we were still able to secure a loan that enabled us to do both roofing and solar. Tory’s still had the best price for the same product but gave us way more for our money. It was an amazing deal!!! So glad that Hunter explained in case we were doing solar that they needed to install the boots or the warranty would be void. It didn’t cost much more for the installation of the boots. Tory’s took the lead in coordinating the roofing with EcoSolar as there were different aspects of the project that either one had to do their part so the other company could complete the next step to make all this happen. All Tory’s workers showed up on time, we’re respectful, cleaned up each day and did an excellent job. The only thing left to complete our roofing project is the installation of the rain gutters which I’m sure will turn out exceptionally well. Thank you Tory’s Roofing Team for such a great deal that made it possible for us to have a safe and secure roof!!!

Tory's roofing has done an excellent job on repairing and coating our complete roof. They were on time and the crew was very helpful and did a super job! Best company ever.
